Since its launch in 1999, The Affordable
Art Fair has taken the art world by storm. Representing more than 1,000 artists
and 110 galleries, the Affordable Art Fair Hampstead is one of the only international art fair where prices start from £100.
From big wall art to figurative art inspired by Bacon, Freud and Picasso, Affordable Art Fair Hampstead spotlights the latest trends storming the industry. Look out for large-scale pieces by Christine Relton and Tom Marine, as well as the hyperreal aesthetic of British artist Laurence Jones. Affordable Art Fair Hampstead will also showcase a selection of paintings by former Premiership footballer, Jody Craddock. Now renowned as much for his talent off the pitch as on the pitch, Craddock's paintings span a range of subjects including classical statues with a modern street art edge.
Buyers of multi-media art can rejoice: porcelain and hand-crafted ceramics will feature heavily at this season's fair, too. With the rise in popularity of creative, craft workshops, ceramics are here to stay. Ceramicists including St Martin's graduate Nam Tran are championing this new-era of ceramics by shunning mass-production. Using hand-crafted techniques, Tran creates artworks that celebrate the beauty in imperfections.
The Made in Arts London showcase, a non-profit initiative devoted to nurturing young talent, is happily returning for another year. With work by top London graduates including Marco Pantaleoni and Stella Kapezanou, Made in Arts presents the perfect opportunity to see, buy and
collect work by London’s emerging top talent.
With new exhibitors, fine art at feasible prices and a jam-packed events program, Affordable Art Fair Hampstead is a family-friendly day out.
