The best pub gardens in London to visit this summer
Vast and spacious, these pub gardens boast secluded booths and enough green space to put you at ease when visiting in these uncertain times.
Remember, advance booking is likely to be essential so remember to secure your table ahead of visiting.
London’s largest nightclub, Studio 338, has transformed its vast outdoor space into a pub garden designed very much with this year’s coronavirus concerns in mind. Called Pub Tropicana (after a similar outdoor concept which ran at the venue in 2017), the space offers an extensive drinks menu, street food and a chance to hear live DJ sets – although no communal dance floor. Adopting a safety-first approach, the pub is operating at a limited capacity and entry tickets must be booked in advance.
Hand-sanitiser dispensers are dotted across the site and two-metre space markers are in place at any ‘pinch points’, including toilets and bars. The bars themselves – which will serve a full cocktail menu as well as iced specials, wine and beer – stretch long and wide to avoid crowding, and table service will be available, too.
