London's best events in 2018

By Eloise Barker on 2/1/2018

London life: exciting, unpredictable, growing bigger and more ridiculous every year. 2018 isn't short of fun, celebration and incredible celebrity appearances. Put these dates in your diary: it might be months in advance but you'll thank us when they all sell out.

The Suffragette centenary

The Suffragette centenary

Why go? It's 100 years since women fought for the right to vote. £5 million has been allocated to this year's Suffragette centenary celebrations by parliament's annual budget and parliament will host a Vote 100 exhibition in June.

What happened last year? London agreed to erect the first ever female statue in Parliament Square. Suffragette Dame Millicent Fawcett will be unveiled this year.
