Wardrobes is as much about the painstaking process of designing and
creating these costumes as it is about the finished garments themselves. The
exhibition takes you on a journey through the costuming of one of the wizarding
world’s best-loved characters: Albus Dumbledore. From preliminary character sketches, to
the first cuts of cloth, to the final sweeping and brocaded ensemble: find out
the painstaking process behind his iconic looks.
Last but not least, Wizarding
Wardrobes goes under the skin of the Harry Potter universe. The exhibition boasts a brand-new makeup and prosthetics
display. Come prepared to face gruesomely realistic trolls, house elves,
dementors – and, perhaps, even the Dark Lord himself.
Hold on to your hats: this exhibition is a must-see for serious fans.
And what better way to mark the twentieth anniversary of the publication of the
Harry Potter books?
