The RA is celebrating Mayfair Art Weekend with The Long Artists' lunch in Burlington Gardens on Sunday and hosting a free arts festival in its Annenberg Courtyard with artists' talks, creative workshops and gallery tours besides guest food traders.

Hosted by British Artist and Royal Academician, Bob and Roberta Smith, The Long Artists' Sunday Lunch of delectable food, art and conversation takes place in Burlington Gardens which will be pedestranised for the occasion.

Lunch will be served on a 15 metre long surrealist art themed tablescape designed by artist duo Philip and Charlotte Colbert.

Visitors can sit on lobster chairs and amongst eccentric table settings for an afternoon of artist-led discussions and performances. Guests can drop in, bring a picnic or buy Italian tapas from art caterers Company of Cooks.

On Saturday, guest food traders in the RA's courtyard will include decadent vegan street food by FFS! Feral Food Stall; craft beers from Deviant Dandy; and cocktails by Midsummer Nightcap . Fortnum and Mason are bringing in their own ice-cream cart.

No advance booking required.
