There are no shortage of theatres in London – but there are none quite as atmospheric or aquatic as the floating Puppet Theatre Barge. Maritime marionettes take to the high seas for a series of puppet shows, presented by masters in the field who will tug at your heartstrings.

The next performance is a retelling of the fairy tale classic, Little Red Riding Hood – the original A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night, (or rather, to grandmas). Updated for a modern audience, this version is by literature superstar, Deborah Jones. In her interpretation, Granny is a forgetful artist, Red Riding Hood is feisty albeit fearful, and as for the Wolf? 'As dark and mysterious as his forest.'

Exploring the twisting tale through a combination of conventional marionettes and shadow puppets alike, this magical show promises to charm audience members of all ages.

Steady your sea legs and prepare to join Little Red Riding Hood on a delightful adventure aboard the Puppet Theatre Barge.
