Forget the christmas tree in Trafalgar Square, if you're looking for the best christmas tree in London this Christmas the only place to visit is Claridge's.
Italian designer duo, Dolce & Gabbana, have taken over Christmas at the luxury hotel, Claridge's for the second year in a row. Festive fashion helpers arrived on Saturday afternoon and worked throughout the night to transform the hotel lobby into a elegant winter winter wonderland, complete with nine thousand lights, hand decorated baubles and an animatronic reindeer.
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said: “Christmas is the happiest time of the year for children and we want to celebrate it with a tree that brings together all the different cultures from around the world.
“We thought of an enchanted forest where the real meets the unreal, just as it does the night before Christmas. It is a very special tradition because it helps spread our love for Italian craftsmanship around the world.”
A visual feast that will sate the craving for festive cheer, enjoy Claridge's famous afternoon tea for additional merriment.
