Art and fashion collide quite literally in this collection from Mayfair designers J&M Davidson, where handbags have become the canvas for much celebrated artist, Tanya Ling.

The brainchild of John and Monique Davison, J&M Davidson has a thirty year history of designing luxury handbags with a world renowned reputation. They opened their second London store in Mayfair this February after achieving great success in Tokyo and Notting Hill. This winter, they have collaborated on a one-of-a-kind project with long-time friend and acclaimed artist Tanya Ling.

Ling is known for her blue line paintings and work in the V&A museum, as well as her much-admired fashion illustrations, whist her esteemed sculptures are situated in Damien Hirst's Murderme Collection. Her work is broad in scope, and encompasses many different themes, displaying her numerous talents in the creative field. She has worked for a number of renowned fashion brands in the past, and has now embarked on this exciting collaboration.

For an exclusive period up until 31st January 2017, customers will be able to buy a J&M Davidson bag from the flagship store in Mount Street and order a unique commission by Tanya Ling to be painted on it.
