Introducing Linnaean: a new wellness concept in Embassy Gardens
A one-stop-shop for socialising with self-care in Nine Elms, London
Linnaean is an exciting new spa, store, cafe and wellness destination in Embassy Gardens, London
Inspired by the Swedish naturalist, Carl Linnaeus, who encouraged our understanding of who we are and what we can become, it boasts advanced bio-science and high-spec beauty tech, alongside classic salon treatments. From hair health, grooming and beauty – to coffee, wine and cake – Linnaean presents a diverse and thoughtful edit of globally sourced products and experiences. Some of the uniquely sourced beauty offerings include, MZ Skin, Susanne Kaufmann, Dr.Barbara Sturm and Orveda facials, along with Olaplex and medical-grade peels, micro-needling and LED treatments.
Central to the space is the café designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio who are behind places like Sexy Fish and Annabel's, so expect over-the-top, photogenic floral and fauna backdrops, teamed with a menu of matcha pancakes, homemade granola and nourishing Buddha bowls with plenty of adaptogen herbs and probiotics, hemp and Ginseng.
Elena Tayleur, the Founder, says,
“We set up Linnaean to help navigate modern living and promote health and happiness. Contemporary life is filled with negative as well as positive disruption. We go through constant changes that can herald both opportunity and overload. We help our guests to keep up while keeping balanced. Linnaean is a space and a philosophy for health, hair, beauty and lifestyle, providing a nourishing and stimulating blend of the latest and greatest with the primordial. Located in Nine Elms, which is developing at a rapid and exciting rate, Linnaean aims to support and nurture the local community, and encourage a feeling of urban connectedness and sustainability.”
