New and noteworthy beauty products to invest in right now

NEW BEAUTY DESTINATIONS IN LONDON

Pre-Covid, my life was immersed in the glories of the beauty world, where my heart would skip a beat at a launch of a super cream or testing out the latest lipstick and visiting a new spa. So I'm absolutely excited by the array of new retail in London. Check out the new Barbara Sturm clinic here.

The Experimental Perfume Club has a new flagship lab-boutique located in Seven Dials, Covent Garden. They're offering bespoke fragrance consultations, refillable products and their unique space is a delight to our depraved senses.

Kiehl's is also launching a new space in Harvey Nichols. Expect the NYC East Village-style service with brilliant product testing stations and hands-on skin prescriptions and it also comes with a great offer – receive a complimentary case with deluxe samples when you spend over £100 on Kiehl's in store or online at Harvey Nichols.

ZARA'S FIRST MAKE-UP COLLECTION | Get ready - Zara Beauty is coming

Zara nails brilliant high-street dupes of designer shoes, scents and candles, and now it is getting stuck into the colour game with the new launch of their make-up range.

It consists of 130 plus colours, consciously crafted, clean formulas, vegan, refillable, and playful pieces to enhance eyes, lips, cheeks, face, and nails.

We love the hot red lipstick – the perfect summery hue for lips and the Nourishing Jelly Lip Oil in four skin-flattering shades.

The collection will be available online across the UK from Wednesday 12 May. To test out in person, visit Zara's London, Bond Street store with their new dedicated beauty area.

THE NEW GOLD STANDARD OF ECO SKINCARE | La Prairie Pure Gold Radiance Cream, £683

La Prairie has entered into the eco-luxe game with their stylish and refillable packaging and new 24-carat cream.

The gold nano-particles scatter on the skin to create a lit-from-within radiance, plus it's said to help the efficacy of other ingredients absorb and boost the skin's inflammatory responses and work on refining the texture.

Although eye-wateringly expensive, we're happy to report the glow is instantaneous, a little goes a very long way, and you'll have the stylish outer casing for life.

NEW BODY PRODUCT TO BOOST YOUR AM ROUTINE | Drunk Elephant Sugared Koffie Almond Milk Scrub, £24

This has the aroma of a flat white and delivers a satisfying skin-sloughing moment in the shower. It's peppy, creamy and delicious and leaves your skin softer than ever before, thanks to the combination of almond milk, coffee-seed oil and sugar. Not sticky, not bland or too rough either – it's my new go-to body prep for summer.

RED LIGHT THERAPY FOR THE WHOLE BODY | Redjuvenate Medical Clinic, Kensington

We've been used to seeing images of people wearing LED light masks - looking all a bit 'Halloween' on our social feeds for a while. But, now, a doctor-led clinic in London is taking it to the next level with a Whole Body Red Light Therapy treatment.

By basking in specific wavelengths of red light, you achieve health, wellness and vitality from head to toe, promoting a wide range of positive benefits - it creates a boost in mood, motivation, and the immune system, speeding up injury healing and increasing endurance too.

Simple to use, you lie down in the NovoThor Whole Body Red Light Therapy Pod, similar in size to a sunbed, for 15 minutes. The warmth of the red light, combined with its physiological effects, generates a feeling of wellbeing within a few minutes of the session.

Where: REDjuvenate Medical Clinic location: 237 High Street Kensington, London, W8 6SA.

Price: The treatment price for a single session is £85.

NEW MULTI-USE OIL | Lixirskin Universal Oil, £39

Do you really need separate oils for hair, scalp, body and shower? The multitude of bottles littering your bathroom shelves could be a thing of the past with Lixirskin’s clever Universal Oil.

It can be used as a pre-shampoo treatment for hair or scalp, added to the bath, or applied in, or after showering, mixed with salt or sugar to give it some scrubby goodness, all thanks to the easily rinsable formula.

It smells light, like the inside of a spa room –think lavender, eucalyptus, floral and citrus notes all melded into one – and it offers skin a nice little glow.

It's especially good if you’re planning on showing off your pins anytime soon.
