Ceramic Art London 2017, Central St Martins

Come and discover the best in established and emerging ceramic craftsmanship at Ceramic Art London 2017

Kiho Kang, Ceramic Festival
Ceramics are one of the oldest human inventions. For more than 26,000 years, we've been mixing clay with water, and firing it in kilns. This April, though, you can discover ceramics with a distinctly modern accent.

Ceramic Art London rolls into Central St Martins this April for the second time, having moved from its former home at the Royal College of Art. There'll be work from established ceramicists, as well as pieces by exciting emerging talent and the students of the CSM ceramics course.

In total there are 88 young artists to discover, ranging from the everyday functional products to more elaborate decorative pieces, made from both traditional and contemporary processes. Prices range from £30 to £10,000, so there's something to brighten every living room in the land.

This London design event is also special because the artists are selling their creations directly, so young collectors and curious visitors will be able engage with the designers and their curious art form.
