The show itself is divided up into four sections. Beginning in Black Box Formula, contemporary artists reflect on the nature of the Black Box, a concept known in technology and social sciences. Prosthetics, networks and post-human thinking take us deep into the Black Box process.
Echo Chamber features a new commission by the theatre designer Chloe Lamford, currently making a name for herself as the Royal Court Theatre Associate Artist. The relationship between contemporary art and theatre is shaken up in a new dystopia.
Over at statement house (temporary title), French artist Jean-Pascal Flavien continues his series of houses for living, resting and working. The site-specific structure standing outside the main entrance will house writers who are engaged in 'writing the house'.
Finally in Whose Game is it? contemporary socio-political questions in our new globalised world are tackled with smashing interactive works including a doughnut-shaped table-tennis table! Look out for Indian group, Raqs Media Collective whose high tech works caught our attention at Frith Street Gallery last year.
If you want to know who the next Hans Ulrich Obrist or Iwona Blazwick will be, pop along to the RCA this March!
