Alexander Wang for H&M, new collection

New collection from New York designer, Alex Wang, for high street giant H&M

Alexander Wang for H&M, new collection
Photos released of Alexander Wang's new collection for H&M have sparked a frenzy of excitement in the fashion world. The new Alexander Wang collaboration with H&M will launch November 6 and promises to have customers queuing down the street. H&M is no stranger to designer collaborations, with Alexander Wang following in the footsteps of Marni, Isabel Marant, Versace, Stella McCartney and Karl Lagerfeld.
The collection is classic Wang, heavily referencing American sportswear; it is normcore luxe at almost affordable prices. Pieces from the collection stay within a strict palette of black, grey and white. However neutral tones are twisted away from normality; cropped jumpers and knee length socks emblazoned with the designer's name compliment wide leg leather trousers and racer heels. These modern twists on old classics are Alexander Wang's forte and this collection is genuinely innovative, as well as desirable.
No stranger to adoration from the fashion world, Alexander Wang made his début on the catwalks back in 2007 to much critical acclaim. Since then he has gone on to become King of the 'off duty model' look. His laid back vibe renders his clothes a must have for men and women alike. So sharpen those elbows, November 6 will inevitably be a harrowing experience but at least you'll have something stylish and comfortable to relax in when you get home.
