Wahaca's Day of the Dead Fiesta, The Vaults

Tacos and tequila are just two of the Mexican delights that will be on offer at Wahaca’s Day of the Dead, the nocturnal fiesta bringing the tastes and sounds of Mexico all the way to London. Despite only being in its fifth year, early bird tickets have already sold out for the event… and with so much on offer, it’s not hard to see why.

If you fancy getting the night off to a classy start, consider getting a Supper Club ticket: diners will enjoy an exclusive four-course feast with the finest of Mexican flavours concocted by Masterchef winner Thomasina Miers and guest chef Santiago Lastra.

It’s not just about the food and drink (although it’s bound to play a pretty big part, with stalls from Patty & Bun, Bob’s Lobster and Anna Mae’s Mac and Cheese all featuring alongside Mexican classics): the event, running over three consecutive nights, is also showcasing Mexican music, theatre, and art.

The Día de los Muertos procession will begin on Leake Street, where theatre group Shotgun Carousel will lead ticket holders to The Vaults tunnels, where the party really kicks off.

A mixture of UK-based and Mexican electro acts will ensure that your feet are moving for the whole night, whilst Los Indios, Orkesta Mendoza, and Family Atlantica will headline the Wahaca live music stage.
