Off the Shelf, British Library

Join actress Noma Dumezweni and Adam Fulrath of Pottermore at the British Library to talk about the lives of books

Noma Dumezweni (Hermione in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) talks about the power of books at the British Library
'I don't believe in the kind of magic in my books. But I do believe something very magical can happen when you read a good book.' - J.K. Rowling

To celebrate their new exhibition, The History of Magic, the British Library are hosting a talk with Noma Dumezweni, the actress who played Hermione in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to critical acclaim, and head of creative at Pottermore, Adam Fulrath. Together they will be exploring 'the ways in which books can travel beyond our shelves' with, no doubt, plenty of Harry Potter insights.

So put your screens down for an evening and remind yourself of the power of the written word.
