5x15 is beloved by Londoners for producing a platform for thought-provoking discussions and nights of entertainment. The standard format of five influential speakers onstage for 15-minute discussions will be expanded for this special one-off day of discussion. Intellectuals and leaders in the fields of film, journalism, politics, the arts and more come together to share their expertise and experience for a special, day-long event.

On 9 February, a diverse cast of nine speakers, including Michael Gunston, Elif Shafak, and Will Self will partake in a series of intriguing discussions to explore the power of film and moving image. CNN's Chief International Correspondent and eleven-time Emmy Award winner, Christiane Amanpour, will also be in attendance, discussing the capacity the media had in the recent US election. After the symposium, even the most discerning audiences are sure to leave feeling a little more inspired and informed.
