The Fantastic World of Dr Seuss, Discover Children's Story Centre

Looking for things to do with toddler's in London? Enter an immersive world inspired by Dr. Seuss this summer at the Discovery Children's Story Centre

Dr. Seuss, The Cat in the Hat
After three busy months of refurbishment, Discover Children's Story Centre is re-opening for the summer holidays with a new, immersive exhibition inspired by the beautiful illustrations from Dr. Seuss.

We loved Discover's exhibition of Michael Rosen's On A Bear Hunt over the winter period, which we thought made for a bright, exciting and safe space for London's little ones to run about in.

Expect to be enchanted by the permanent large exhibition room on the first floor, with its storytelling pods and multicoloured, sensory play areas. Little ones climb the crows nest which reaches up to the clouds, man the control panel in the Observatron or run outside into the secluded Story Garden where there are secret pathways, tunnels and a giant pirate ship and space craft to be found.

On the floor below, families enter the world of Dr. Seuss. Discover funny and fantastical stories from The Cat in the Hat, The Lorax, Green Eggs and Ham and Oh, The Places You'll Go. Dress up Thing 1 and Thing 2, play music with the Boom Band and come across The Cat in the Hat or Sam-I-Am.
