Jason and the Argonauts, Unicorn Theatre Greek Season

Join Jason and his Argonauts in a mythological world at the Unicorn Theatre this summer 2016 as part of the children's theatre's Greek Season

Jason and the Argonauts, Unicorn Theatre Greek Season
Pegged to be one of the best children's theatrical performances in London this autumn, the Unicorn Theatre's Greek Season continues with an original spin on the tale of Jason and the Argonauts.

The Unicorn Theatre is famed for its reputation as the UK's leading professional theatre for young audiences, we expect big things from this brand-new, original script, especially following the theatre's recent successful productions of The Minotaur and My Father Odysseus.

Follow the mighty Jason, and his fellow Argonauts, as he sets sail on the Argo and embarks on the ultimate adventure. He is on a quest for the golden fleece, in order to prove his worthiness for the throne.

With a host of challenges and troublesome characters along the way (from harpies to sirens), as Jason attempts to complete this quest and return back home a hero clasping the Golden Fleece.

Expect ingenious staging, emotional storytelling and a jam-packed adventure designed to capture the imaginations of children unacquainted with the story and parents who are.

Limited performances also include a post-production discussion, giving little ones the chance to ask more about the story and Greek mythology in general.

On Saturday 15th October, there's also an Up Club+ workshop. Tickets to this are £10 per child. Places are limited, book now to avoid disappointment.
