Aslan at the Abbey, Westminster Abbey

Celebrate the legacy of C.S. Lewis at Westminster Abbey this Easter

Aslan at the Abbey, Westminster Abbey
This Easter, travel through the doors of Westminster Abbey to enter the magical world of Narnia. Families are invited to participate in a series of free events exploring the real-life history behind the fantasy world.

C.S. Lewis' unique visions have influenced modern fantasy as we know it. Writer, scholar, and friend of J.R.R. Tolkien, the legendary author is fittingly remembered in Poets' Corner at Westminster Abbey.

Families can learn about the mythical creatures that roam the pages of Narnia and stalk the corners of the Abbey. Embark on a fantastical journey through the historic building, and count how many lions you can spot along the way.

Take up arms and crafts before fighting in Aslan's army. Make a shield to fight alongside the badgers, centaurs, and warriors in the battle against the White Witch. Craft a keyring keepsake to take home with you to remember your time in Narnia.

Activities are free, but places must be booked in advance to avoid disappointment
Recommended for children ages 5 – 11
