Carousel will be holding a new culinary pop-up with Turkish cooking from chef John Gregory-Smith. Having just spent the last 10 years travelling extensively around Turkey discovering regional recipes with which to regale diners back home, this September, Gregory-Smith wants to recreate the convivial vibes that he experienced in Turkish “meyhane” drinking dens in Marylebone, by offering a tantalising menu of light meze dishes, grilled sardines, piquant lamb tenderloin and more.

One-year old Carousel is the latest venture from the team at Shuttlecock Inc, award-winning creators of pop-ups, parties and events. With its constant rotation of excellent chefs, it's one of the most unique restaurants London has on offer. A sizeable, stylishly sparse three-floor venue, it promises pop-up dining and creative arts events, and Tom Ryalls' visit, just a few months into their first year, set the bar pretty high for the future (whilst boasting one of London's best bars). We can’t wait to see what John Gregory-Smith has got in store.
