Black Roe: Poké Bar & Grill, Mayfair

London’s very first live Poké Bar & Grill concept brought to you by Nobu and Chotto Matte's distinguished chef Kurt Zdesar

Black Roe Dish
Hawaiian might have to be our new favorite cuisine; poké, our favorite dish.

Kurt Zdesar, esteemed chef and mastermind behind London hotspots Nobu and Chotto Matte, opened Black Roe, London’s first live poké bar & grill concept in London. While the restaurant serves meats cooked on a Kiawe wood grill, Black Roe’s gem is most certainly its poké bar which is located at the very front and where various kinds of fresh, sustainably sourced seafood is prepared by chefs. At Black Roe, Hawaiian marinated raw fish is served on a bed of rice and colorful cocktails in Tiki jars.

Although topical print shirts, flower leis, and coconut bras are visibly missing from the Hawaiian themed establishment, try Black Roe for an intimate yet buzzy night out!
