Film stars and fashion names are opening their wardrobes and auctioning some of their favourites for charity Wardrobes for Women this December

Two of the UKs most glamorous stars, Keira Knightley and Emma Watson, are opening their wardrobes to the British public with a charity auction running for twelve days from the 3rd December.
The British actresses have donated some of their most glamorous designer outfits and accessories to Vestiaire Collective's partnership with Women for Women International, as part of a new programme called Wardrobes For Women, helping women in war-torn countries take control of their lives.
Alongside fellow actress Lupita Nyong'o, Diane Kruger, Chloë Sevigny, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Dree Hemmingway and Lena Dunham, as well as fashion names Olivia Palermo, Caroline Issa, Charlotte Dellal and Chiara Ferragni, the campaign which will run for 12 days, with the sale available at Vestiairecollective.com.
Speaking to Vogue, Knightley said: "It's a pity when beloved clothes sit dormant in my close, so I am thrilled to be a part of Wardrobes for Women to give these clothes a new life." Speaking about a bur and white Prada dress she has chosen to donate, the star said: "I love the simple elegance of this silk Prada dress, I wore it to a friend's birthday and it made me feel like a dream. I hope whoever ends up with this item will love it as much as I have."
