Top vintage store in London, Beyond Retro, is pushing the christmas jumper trend upon the public with real vigor this year. Until the 21st December 2014, Old Street will host the Beyond Retro christmas jumper pop-up shop. The pop-up runs in conjunction with the Save the Children's christmas jumper day, happening on December 12th.
The much loved Bridget Jones brought ugly christmas jumpers back into the public consciousness in 2001, when Mark Darcy sported a reindeer jumper knitted by his mother. Since then, the penchant for a garish knit has flourished and, to quote Bridget, 'I fear this year will be no different'.
However juvenile and aesthetically unpleasing they may be, the christmas jumper pop up from Beyond Retro supports a good cause, with one pound from each donation going to charity.
