Arket opens Covent Garden store

If you missed the grand opening of new lifestyle shop Arket on Regent Street, you might have started to see the white paper shopping bags sneakily infiltrating London's street style, as savvy shoppers carry their purchases back to their East London flats.

Come join the fun this time around as they open a smaller shop in Covent Garden, on Long Acre, the site of a previous H&M store.

Like its sister site, Arket Covent Garden will have an on-site cafe, menswear, womenswear, kidswear and homeware from the brand and the best examples of styles from other brands.

Clean lines and quality materials abound in-store. You'd do well do pick up some basics in every department, from kitchen to kids.

We love the simple vases - huge, glass bulbs with a tiny neck. We envision a couple of stems of September's Michaelmas daisies poking through, placed on our kitchen table. Considering clothes? Stock up on thin knits and great, durable bags.

Arket will open at 12 noon in Covent Garden. The first 100 visitors will receive a special gift.
