Meet Vivienne Westwood and get a copy of her new book

Dame Vivienne Westwood will be gracing St James's Church this October to talk about her new book Get A Life: The Diaries of Vivienne Westwood

Dame Vivienne Westwood
Good old Dame Viv, tireless environmental campaigner and the woman who brought you punk and new wave fashion, will be coming to St James's Church in Piccadilly this October as she talks about her new book Get A Life: The Diaries of Vivienne Westwood with Guardian journalist Deborah Orr.

As those familiar with her distinctively fingers-up aesthetic would expect, Vivienne Westwood is no simpering fashion luvvie. In the flesh she is charismatic, opinionated and vocal on a broad range of topics. And if her last memoir is anything to go by, in which she opens up about her abusive relationship with Malcolm McLauren, Vivienne's willingness to share her life stories is sure to liven up this talk.

Her new book, which will be released in October, is being heralded as offering a special insight into her world, her thoughts and the ideas that underpin her fierce sense of integrity & campaigns

Alongside the talk, people can get a copy of the book and enjoy an evening exploring of the life and work of the Queen of Great British Fashion.
