Cos resale site launches: circular economy

Cos launches its own circular fashion platform

Cos Resell launches: September 2020
Much is made of the longevity of luxury, and sites abound where you can sell or rent past-season pieces and become part of the circular economy. But does a garment need to have a designer label in order to deserve a second life?

Not according to Cos. The Swedish-owned, London-based high-street brand famed for its design-led take on contemporary clothing has announced the launch of Cos Resell, a digital platform for peer-to-peer resale.

Nothing is yet available to buy, but prospective sellers in the UK and Germany can now register for the service and upload items to sell. Prices are set by the seller, with a 10% commission paid to Cos as a contribution towards website costs. All sellers will be required to share the product number on the care label in order to guarantee authenticity.

Image guidelines are available to help ensure your upload is accepted, a minimum of four images are required and the brand recommends 'images should never feel cluttered' – what more could we expect from our favourite high-street minimalists?
