A home for nomads, networked sexuality and sentient robots. This November, to mark the opening of the brand new Design Museum Kensington, eleven designers will present their work as part of Fear and Love: Reactions to a Complex World.

Each design is born out of a contemporary issue. We have OMA's Pan-European Living Room, which is furnished with a piece of furniture from each of the 28 EU member states. (Sure to a poignant one...).

The graphic designers Metahaven, based in Amsterdam, present a film about the marine wildlife conservation group Sea Shepherd, while Ma Ke’s philosophy is to create clothes that have a strong connection to the land and the rural traditions of China.

Tokyo-based Kenya Hara, the graphic designer and art director of Muji has created a graphic display about the most common staple foods around the world.
