The city of Bristol has one of the UK's richest ethnic and cultural mixes, something it likes to celebrate every year with an international festival that blends diverse stories, creative activities, food and, of course, dance. It is known as The World in Bristol.

This year, owing to Covid-19 restrictions, the festival has migrated online – its one-week programme of dance can be accessed via its Facebook page everyday at 5 pm.

Here's what's on offer:

22 June Brazilian dance with Angeles Fiallo Montero

23 June – Traditional African dance with live drumming with Norman (Rubba) Stephenson

24 June – Traditional Tibetan dance with Joy Cheung

25 June Bollywood dance with Aanchal Gupta

26 June Contemporary African dance with live drumming with Louis Roger Eboa

27 JuneSpanish dance and live flamenco guitar with Aneta Skut and Cuffy

So, if you want to bop along, or just discover new and different national dances, what better place to start than The World in Bristol?
