The Tallis Scholars

The outstanding British choir gives two concerts. The first (2 Oct) features 16th-century music of ethereal charm and astonishing complexity, including Taverner's six-voice Magnificat and ornate pieces by John Sheppard. In the second (15 May) the composers are the 20th-century mystic John Tavener and rousing Rachmaninov.

Voices New Zealand

Maori and traditional western sounds combine in a rare concert by the antipodean choir on its 20th anniversary tour of Europe. Voices of Saints and Angels, Voices from the Deep, Voices from the Earth and Voices of Stars and Light make up the four parts of these versatile singers' radical and refreshing programme.

The Choir of St George's Chapel, Windsor

Hear the choir that sang for the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Generations of boys and men have sung at Windsor since 1348, and this programme reflects the many centuries of music-making for the royal family, right up to otherworldly Arvo Part.

The Gesualdo Six

Classical music's answer to a boy band. The lively voices of the six men of this handpicked ensemble and director Owain Park mix Nonsense Madrigals by 20th-century Hungarian/Austrian composer György Ligeti with early sacred music and folk songs.
