Gone are the arcane days when good children should be seen and not heard. This generation of kids and young people have the capacity to be heard across the World Wide Web, at just the click of a button. But how does this selfie-saturated culture shape their creativity and perspective?

Come and find out for yourself at Seen and Not Heard, a theatrical experience produced by a team of 11 to 16 year olds as part of the Southbank Centre's WHY Festival. Set in a photo studio run by teens and tweens, the walk through installation combines concept and performance to explore what makes a perfect picture. You are invited into the studio, through the dark room and out again: prepare to have your photograph taken and shared as part of the experience.

With immersive theatre connoisseurs Complicite overseeing the project, this two day pop up is more than just a show for proud parents. We're excited to see how Complicte's expertise works alongside the fresh ideas from the young creative team.

Suitable for ages 11+
