British design duo Eley Kishimoto (Mark Eley & Wakako Kishimoto) have just launched their dazzling hand-screen-printed wallpaper collection at Heal's. To mark the moment, the pair will be in conversation with the Dean of UAL's School of Design, Lawrence Zeegen to talk all things design, moving from fashion to interiors, and their inspiration.
Who are designers Eley Kishimoto?
Originally vibrant fashion designers that worked with the likes of Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton, the Brixton based duo have since turned their hand in recent years to interiors, with a unique brand of eclectic prints and optical patterns. The company was born in 1992 when Welsh Mark Eley and Japanese Wakako Kishimoto got married and began to craft their mesmeric designs.
