Steal yourself and the kids away this Christmas to embark on an adventure with a friendly witch and her team of animal companions in Tall Stories’ musical production of Room on the Broom. Together you will venture on a quest to fight an evil dragon, not forgetting some merry sing-alongs on the way.

Originally performed in 2014, Room on the Broom is a theatrical adaptation of The Gruffalo authors Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s children’s book of the same name. This November, Witch, Cat, Dog, Frog and Bird are returning to London for more music, more puppetry and more spooky fun.

Tall Stories, from founders Olivia Jacobs and Toby Mitchell, is a theatre company that loves storytelling. Since its creation in 1997 it has put on thirty productions in five languages across the globe, including The Gruffalo and The Snow Dragon.

Tall Stories’ latest show is the perfect festive family night out. But will all of Witch’s friends fit on the broom? You’ll have to come to Lyric Theatre this winter to find out.
