Floristry workshops with Ellie Hartley

We've teamed up with Rococo Chocolates and Ellie Hartley Flowers to bring you the the perfect experience to share with your little ones this July.

In the heart of Belgravia, Rococo Chocolates will host a fun, educational workshop where your children will learn the art of chocolate-making. The team will teach your tiny chocolatiers everything there is to know about chocolate and guide them through creating delightful organic treats to take home. You will also be able to treat yourself to products in the shop with an exclusive 15% off discount on the day of the event.

While your children are being entertained, Dover Street florist, Ellie Hartley, will be guiding you in designing your own hand-tied bouquet of seasonal British wildflowers. Just in time for summer, you will learn how to make the most of lovely blossoms and likely discover a new passion. The beautiful bouquet and the skills you gain in this workshop will be the perfect addition to your home and interiors. At the end of the flower-arranging workshop, guests will receive a goody bag with treats worth over £35.

Mid-Summer: Make your own flower-crown

Mid-summer chic or Coachella cool, flower crowns are now a staple of the festival-summer season. This floral-crown making workshop is one of the most therapeutic of the five classes as it involves participants weaving flowers in delicate ways using intricate wiring techniques. As well as making whimsical head dresses, attendees will learn how to make corsages and buttonholes, too. A handy know-how during wedding season!

SEPTEMBER: Table arranging workshop

Working as a team, participants of the September masterclass will learn how to create different vases and arrangements of flowers, foliages and plants to decorate a table for a celebratory occasion. Following the class, all guests will be able to enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea on the very table just dressed for the occasion.

DECEMBER: Festive wreath making workshop

Get crafty this festive period with our bespoke wreath making workshop. During this class, Ellie and her team will teach you how to make a festive table centrepiece using Christmas foliage with sprigs of holly, berries and mistletoe aplenty. Once the wreath starts taking shape, it will be time to decorate: pine cones, cinnamon bundles, dried fruits and fresh flowers will be on offer. Afterwards, Ellie will show the class how to dress a Christmas tree to a professional standard.
