There's plenty to keep little fingers and toes warm at the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland this year. Visitors can glide over the glittering ice rink, explore the magical ice kingdom, get the adrenaline flowing with Cirque Berserk's thrilling off-the-scale stunt action in the Mega Dome, or hold a warming hot chocolate in the Bavarian Village. Unleash your inner artist with in ice sculpting workshop, or laugh until your belly hurts at Winter Wonderland's very own Comedy Club, featuring a line-up of comedians including Glenn Wool and Terry Alderton.

New for 2021 is the introduction of paid tickets for peak times. All time slots must now be booked in advance, with off-peak tickets available for free, standard tickets for £5 and peak for £7.50. Winter Wonderland is closed on Christmas Day.

Read on for our round-up of 2021's highlights...

The Giant Wheel
At 70m tall, this enormous observation wheel offers guests the chance to take in London's glorious skyline - it's the biggest transportable observation wheel in Europe.

The Magical Ice Kingdom
The Magical Ice Kingdom will be back this year with a brand-new theme, centred around Charles Dickens' classic, A Christmas Carol, and will feature 500 tonnes of beautifully crafted snow and ice sculptures.

The Ice Rink

The ice rink at Hyde Park is set around a Victorian bandstand and glitters with the light of 100,000 Christmas lights. Sessions run every hour on the hour and last 50 minutes. The park recommends turning up 20 minutes before your booked session.

Circus Show

Zippos Circus shows take place in the Mega Dome, the newest and biggest circus tent the UK. For family friendly day time shows, Zippos Christmas Circus is the event to pick, featuring acrobatic and comic acts and the dancing Snow Bears. Danger junkies will be happier at Cirque Berserk's show featuring sensational feats of acrobatics.

Real Ice Slide
Who needs a trip to the Alps when you can slip, slide and scream your way down a giant ice slide in the centre of Hyde Park? Strap on your helmet, grab a rubber ring and prepare to be thrilled.

Christmas Markets
Don't worry about flying to Germany for the Christmas markets this year. The Bavarian Village in Hyde Park will do just as well. As well as presents there's tempting treats (including spiced hot chocolate and mulled wine for parents) to keep you going.

Bar Ice
As if winter in London was not cool enough – when stepping into Bar Ice, you’ll be transported to a freezing cold destination surrounded by sculptures and furniture made out of solid ice. Luckily, all visitors are provided with a thick winter cloak and gloves to keep warm and cosy.

Bavarian Village
Raise a beer stein, a hot chocolate or a steaming mug of something mulled in a cosy chalet or brace the elements on an outdoor table in Winter Wonderland's very own Bavarian Village.
