Known as the godfather of Fusion cuisine, Peter Gordon's Marylebone restaurant has reached its 15th anniversary. To celebrate he is joining forces with The Cinnamon Club's Vivek Singh, whose restaurant has also reached the same ripe old age, to host a one-off 6-course wine-paired dinner.
At Peter's Marylebone restaurant, The Providores and Tapa Room, each chef will present their own welcome cocktail and canapés before guests take their seats for a seriously indulgent menu with dishes by both chefs served side by side.
The pair will also be answering questions throughout, so diners can quiz them on inspiration, the obstacles they've tackled and the delicious dishes on the night.
The menu is already carefully decided, and we're salivating over the miso-baked aubergine, the grilled scallops with dashi tapioca, and the treacle cured bacon ice cream with olive meringues and banana salted caramel.
Peter's latest cookbook, Savour: Salads for all Seasons and Vivek's The Cinnamon Club Cookbook will also be available to buy at the dinner.
