For those looking to eschew the mayhem of the typical London pub crawl, you're instead invited to ring in the festive season with a chauffeur-driven journey through London's historic streets. Shake, Rattle and Stir are welcoming thirsty Londoners to join this souped-up Christmas version of their popular Gin Journey (with even more gin).
The £100 ticket price includes a tour of a working gin distillery, six gin samplers and six seasonal cocktails (the team has vowed there'll be no turkey martinis), as well as the chance to line your stomach with some well-crafted food accompaniments. In addition to the distillery, guest are invited to visit two gin-inspired venues—and the whole tour is carefully curated, so you’re bound to go away having learnt something special about the historic spirit, whilst warming your cockles with some tasty tipples.
The team at Shake, Rattle and Stir are keeping their cards close to their chest, so we can’t give you any clues about where the journey will take you, but Christmas is all about surprises, so we'd suggest giving this one a try.

The English actually discovered gin when they were fighting the Thirty Years’ War in the 17th century in Holland, and saw Dutch soldiers drinking Jenever to boost morale before heading into battle, whence the term 'Dutch Courage' was born.
