Tickets for The Royal Ballet Spring period are now on sale. Below is a list of the programmes on offer.

Frederick Ashton's Cinderella: Monday 27 March – Wednesday 3 May, Main Stage
Ashton's enchanting reading of Charles Perrault's story of rags to riches, kindness rewarded, and love triumphant is one of the gems in The Royal Ballet repertoire, one we haven't seen for a while. Now it returns to the stage where it premiered on 1948; and to mark its 75th anniversary it gets a brand-new production, in collaboration with The National Ballet of Canada.

The new production retains Prokofiev's enchanting score, and adds all the magical resources of theatre, film, dance and opera.
Tickets: £9 – £170

The first performance on Monday 27 March is a fundraising gala, starring Marianela Nuñez and Vadim Muntagirov.
Cinderella will be relayed live to cinemas on Wednesday 12 April, with an Encore on Sunday 16 April.

International Draft Works: Monday 3 – Thursday 6 April, Linbury Theatre
Every year The Royal Ballet offers budding choreographers, both from within the company and abroad, an opportunity to show off their new work. Judging from past editions, this initiative always offers a fascinating glimpse into what the new generation of dancers and choreographers are thinking, and therefore the potential future direction of ballet and dance in general.
Tickets: £4 – £35

The Royal Ballet in Class on Stage: Friday 21 April, Main Stage
If you want to get better acquainted with how dancers prepare, watching daily class is both educational and fascinating.
Tickets: £5 – £20

UniVerse: A Dark Crystal Odyssey: Saturday 13 May – Wednesday 14 June, Linbury Theatre
The Royal Ballet resident choreographer Wayne McGregor directs a team of multi-talented collaborators, including puppeteers, as well as composer Joel Cadbury, digital designers kontrastmoment, lighting designer Lucy Carter, dramaturg Uzma Hameed,  costume designer Philip Delamore, and face-and-body-artist Alex Box to tell a timeless myth of courage and self-sacrifice based on Jim Henson's 1982 film.

UniVerse: A Dark Crystal Odyssey will be performed by McGregor's own Company Wayne MacGregor and it's billed as a show for the whole family.
Tickets: £4 – £27.50

  • Parsons

Parsons is a thoroughly old-fashioned spot, with a maroon-tiled facade, a white tiled interior and antique mirrors on which are written their daily changing selection of fresh whole fish which make up most of the mains. We love it.
