Andreas Slominski artist,
xWSy7z, 2008. David Roberts collection, London
David Roberts is one of the most exciting art collectors in London. The British property developer has a fantastic eye for rising contemporary art stars, and has been slowly filling a warehouse of the stuff in north London. Catch a glimpse of his stellar collection at this new show alongside Frieze London 2015.
DRAF Foundation London
This exhibition in north London features some exciting names including golden boy of the art world Oscar Murillo (also to be found at David Zwirner this autumn), American artist with a European soul Philip Guston and Lebanese painter Etel Adnan. Albert the kid is ghosting tells the story of an uncanny fiction, where each space in the gallery feels like a crime scene in a dark thriller. The only artist that isn't named is the ghost, who haunts DRAF London this autumn. You'll find a floor of polished red pebbles by Adnan with Philip Guston's dark floral wallpaper nearby. A strange world of crimson walls and neon curtains also plays host to to Etel Adnan's poetry and eclectic performances.
Don't miss this snapshot of one of the best contemporary art collections in town.
