With all the rhetoric and Big Ideas surrounding the general election, Culture Whisper wanted to collect some of the little things that spark emotions about Britain.
In anticipation of May 7, we asked our favourite figures in the arts to tell us what makes Britain feel like home.
Fatos Ustek, Curator of Fig 2 at the ICA:
"A building, or a scene out of ordinary might surface as unexpected and pleasing. It could be a long-standing century-old temple on a side road, or a remote garden in the centre of tourist attractions."
Fatos Ustek is a an independent curator, currently overseeing fig-2, a visual arts programme of 50 weeks composed of 50 projects launching at ICA Studio.
