One for parents, 'funcles', teachers and, well, anyone hoping to give the kids an introduction to Shakespeare: a new production of The Tempest reimagined for little ones aged six and upward is being mounted at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre this summer. While the story has been condensed to just 75 minutes, its core elements and characters will all be present. Little audiences can look forward to an enchanting tale of sorcery, shipwrecks, monsters, revenge and romance.

Revisions to the original tale come from the production's director Jennifer Tang, At the time of writing, further creatives and cast are yet to be announced.
