Meet ESA astronaut Tim Peake at Waterstones, Piccadilly

A chance to meet ESA astronaut Tim Peake, as he personally signs copies of his new book Hello, is this Planet Earth? My View from the International Space Station.

ESA astronaut Tim Peake
Tim Peake has been one of Britain’s best-loved astronauts since he swapped his spacesuit for black tie in order to present Adele with a BRIT Award live from the International Space Station. He is a British Army Air Corps officer, European Space Agency astronaut and a former International Space Station (ISS) crew member.

The title of his new book, which is a photographic account of his six-month Principia mission, was famously inspired by a ‘wrong number’ incident from the trip (Peake accidentally misdialled a woman from the ISS and asked her ‘Hello, is this Planet Earth?’)

Waterstones Piccadilly are hosting Tim to meet and sign readers’ personal copies of Hello, is this Planet Earth? the proceeds of which are donated to The Prince’s Trust. The event is free but arrive early to avoid disappointment as entry to the book signing is only guaranteed to the first 500 customers.

Not one to miss for dedicated Peake fans, and a great opportunity to snap up a personalised Christmas present!
