Jeremy Paxman: The man who wouldn't take 'No comment' for an answer, Central Hall Westminster

Newsnight's supreme inquisitor will discuss his new memoir with Today programme presenter John Humphrys

Gold dust: Jeremy Paxman Newsnight moments
Jermey Paxman is infamous for the interview in whcih he asked Michael Howard the same question 12 times in 90 seconds: "Did you threaten to overrule him [Derek Lewis]?"

He has spent the last quarter century as the face of Newsnight, asking the hard questions and skewering political mammoths. Paxman is the man who dared to make his interviewees actually answer the question, revolutionising the political interview by taking the side of the viewer as had never been done so doggedly before.

Now the dreaded cross-questioner comes to the Intelligence Squared stage to be interrogated by John Humphrys, and you, the audience, in his first major interview after writing his new memoir, A Life in Questions, which will be published on 6th October.
