11 Cadogan Gardens joins Relais & Châteaux
A London hotel has finally made it into Relais & Châteaux, the premier association for luxury hotels with around 500 members across 60 different countries. Any scroll of the group's website will inundate you with dreamy images of far flung locales, sublime suites and gastronomic delights. To make it onto the list, hotels have to pass the group's strict admission standards which are centred around the five 'C's: Caractère, Courtoisie, Calme, Charme et Cuisine (Character, Courtesy, Calm, Charm and Cuisine).

Now 11 Cadogan Gardens has been announced as one of Relais & Châteaux's newest members, and it's not hard to see why. The Chelsea hotel channels timeless elegance into the design of its 56 guestrooms, 25 of which are suites.

Its drawing room, library, and mesmerising 'Mirror Room' imbue old school charm with a sense of wonder and its restaurant, Hans’ Bar & Grill, is helmed by Masterchef: the Professionals semi-finalist Chef Luke Phillips. The hotel's late 19th century building bespeaks of rich London heritage and its location, just off Sloane Square, is unbeatable. The London hotel follows in the footsteps of its sister property Chewton Glen in Hampshire, which was the first Relais & Châteaux hotel in the UK.
