The Great Garden Game, Hampton Court Palace

Struggling for fun family activities this October half term? Hampton Court Palace has you covered.

Hampton Court Palace
If you're struggling for ideas this October half term, worry no more. Hampton Court Palace is hosting an historical adventure in the gardens this autumn to get kids learning and rushing about outside in the grounds of the beautiful Tudor Palace, your last chance to enjoy the wonderful magic garden, featuring dragons and turrets to be conquered.

The theme this year is a royal garden party. It's 1718, King George I and his court have enjoyed a season of feasting and merrymaking. Grab a map and join the revellers in historic costume as you play 18th century skittles, draw decorative flowers and learn all about Georgian fireworks. Try to avoid the tensions between the King and his eldest son George, the Prince of Wales, and keep a whether eye out of a family feud. Once you've completed your activity trail, you'll be able to claim your garden mascot prize!

The family ticket price includes access to the palace, maze, gardens, a costumed guided tour and the Great Garden Game. The event is part of the Get Creative Family Arts Festival and the 'Wonderful World' scheme taking place at Hampton Court Palace, the Tower of London and Kensington Palace. Don't miss it!

Suitable for kids aged between 5 and 14
