Cubism, Easter, Creative Arts Club

Get your kids actively engaging with Cubism in the new Easter workshop from the Creative Arts Club

Cubism, Easter, Creative Arts Club
This Easter, the Creative Arts Club will be tackling an ambitious topic as it looks at Cubism, one of the most influential art movements of the early twentieth century. This is the perfect opportunity to learn a little bit more about art history, while still allowing participants to get their hands dirty with plenty of cutting, sticking, painting and moulding.
Taking inspiration from Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, kids will learn about abandoned perspective, blend backgrounds and shatter photos and drawings. They'll find out how Cubism paved the way for geometric abstract art before going on to create their own shapes, patterns and grids. This looks set to be a truly interactive workshop, as a range of options will be available for kids, from painting and drawing to the more unusual sculpting. We reckon it's a must-do for any parent keen to see what a junior cubist masterpiece might look like...
Suitable for children 4 - 8 years old
