It's family weekend at the Museum of London, where Lord Mayor's Show celebrations continue with crafts, performances and more

Teaming up with the Barbican, Barbican Children’s Library and the Tower Bridge among other big names, the Museum of London opens its doors this November for a weekend of crafty family fun.
Kiddies escape the cold and retreat inside the designated picnic areas of the Museum of London, awaiting a firework showing. Family-friendly hot food is also on offer for those who don't fancy bringing their own.
Your little ones can get creative with dragon mask making, watch and listen to performances, and participate in entertaining Minecraft family challenges.

Looking for more free family fun? The Animated Animals digital workshop goes live for one day only on 22nd November, using 21st century technology to bring the animals from the collection to life. Parents should be advised that this event is recommended for children ages 7+
