Jennifer Lawrence: Mockingjay Part 2 film still
With its first three instalments, the Young Adult Hunger Games franchise has proven itself as a total box office and media phenomenon. It comes as no surprise, then, that expectations are soaring high for the follow up to MockingjayPart 2 will be the Hunger Games series' fourth and final film.

For the uninitiated, the film, based on a trilogy of the same name, takes place in a dystopian America, ruled by a wealthy Capitol who keep the people in dire poverty. As an annual means of entertaining and pacifying the population, teenagers are forced to fight to the death in gladiatorial combat. When two victors are chosen – Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) rather than one, the state plunges into revolution and civil war.

Jennifer Lawrence's performance has been consistently remarkable throughout the Hunger Games series. With a strong supporting cast including Hollywood favourites Julianne Moore, Natalie Dormer, and Liam Hemsworth, Mockingjay: Part 2 looks set to be another thrilling, spectacular, and intelligent instalment of the invigorating Hunger Games franchise.

Mockingjay Part 2 will be released in the UK on 19 November
