Award-winning British director Joe Wright (Atonement, Pride & Prejudice) has carved out a niche in the already extensive Peter Pan movie franchise with new Pan (2015) film, a modern take on J.M. Barrie’s classic story.
Pan film cast
Peter (Levi Miller) is seeking to find his long-lost parents when he crosses paths with Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman) and his band of criminals who whisk him away on their magical pirate ship to Neverland. Alongside his companions – notably Mary, played by Amanda Seyfried – eternally youthful Peter leads an uprising to overthrow the tyrannical Blackbeard, and encounters a range of whimsical characters over the course of his travels, including Mermaid (Cara Delevigne) and Tiger Lily (Rooney Mara).
This new Peter Pan film looks to be a heart-warming fantasy-adventure that’s fun for all the family. We can’t wait to sail off to Neverland on 16 October.
