Prime Minister’s Question Time, Imagine Children's Festival, Southbank Centre

A children's guide to politics: kids present their election manifestos in a mock PMQ session as part of the Imagine Children's Festival, 2015.

Prime Minister’s Question Time, Imagine Children's Festival, Southbank Centre
John Bercow chastised MPs for the ‘histrionics and cacophony of noise’ that characterises their weekly PMQ session; how then will children behave when they enter the parliamentary chamber? Three members of Festival Ideas Cloud – a group of children from six primary schools across Lambeth - will take to the despatch Box on February 3, where they will present what they would do if they were Prime Minister and field questions from a discerning audience of children on their policies. This mock PMQ will be a great way to engage your child in the world of politics – let’s just hope it won’t get as rowdy as the real thing!
Suitable for ages 7 – 12
