The Ballad of Rudy, Chelsea Theatre

For a super cool Christmas treat, why not take the little ones to see the Ballad of Rudy? This toe-tapping jazz-filled musical comes to the Chelsea Theatre from 4 – 22 December and is a fresh and funky alternative to more traditional Christmas productions for children.

This quirky and imaginative show, set in the North pole Jazz Lounge, is full of kooky characters that we think kids will love, such as the blues-singing Polar Bear, the Puffins who like to jam, the Arctic Fox who can beat-box and even a magical Jazz Penguin! But as the title suggests, the star of this show is Rudy the Reindeer. He may not have a red nose, but instead stands out for his incredible musical talents and his expert ear for hip new sounds.

Expect plenty of live music and original songs in this magical adventure, in which Rudy discovers that being different isn't such a bad thing. Funny, chilly and just plain silly, this show is sure to put your family in a festive mood.
